Police release image of man wanted in connection with church burglary

Police have released an image of a man following a burglary at a village church.
At some point between Tuesday night (November 27), and Wednesday morning (November 28), a suspect broke in to St Gregory?s Church, Alresford.
Although nothing was stolen, damage was caused and officers have now released an e-fit of the man they want to speak to.
The man, who spoke with a North Country accent, is described as white and in his 40s, of medium to tall height, with a fairly ?weedy? build.
He is also said to have a very pale oval face, is clean shaven and either balding, or with very short hair which looked thin and wispy. He was wearing dark clothes, possibly including tracksuit bottoms.
PC Carl Stevens, said: ?I am appealing for anyone with information about this incident, or who the man in the e-fit may be, to come forward and speak to us.

Anyone with information should contact PC Stevens at North Walls police station on 101, or alternatively information can be given anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
